Well, I have finally (I hope) shaken off any injuries, the last month has been demoralising interms of not being able to get into a routine.
It seems now though that I am on the road to being able to do just that. I've had a fiasco with my trainers in that the new ones I had 'fitted' caused more problems than they solved. I have since had physio which has left some unresolved issues regarding how my body can be best support throughout my training. I am seeing a second physio in August to get independant advice. I would like to thank The Running Fox in Loughborough for their time in helping me ensure I am best equipped as possible. Over all I am looking forward to a long sustained period of training, the Leicester half marathon is closing in and I feel behind schedule. In terms of the project as a whole things are going well. H4H money is still trickling in though we have plenty of time to raise and H4H will become my priority closer to the Marathon des Sables (Sables Marathon). The Anchor in Hathern are doing exceptionally well with their collection tins, which reminds me, I need to take a replacement down as their's is full. Cheers Lisa! I have also been approached by a company in Leicester wishing to get on board. Untill I have some more confirmed information though they shall have to remain nameless.
All being well that will mean I have some financial backing for the race fee, though I continue to stash money away myself, that is on top of trainers and physio bills....
