I am pleased to confirm that I have an official place on the 2012 Sables Marathon (MdS).

I am still seeking sponsors willing to support this fundraising campaign, particularly those willing to provide support for the Sables Marathon (MdS).  The opportunity to raise a large amount of money for Help for Heroes (H4H) via the Sables Marathon is too good to miss, and as with all charity ventures financial/equipment support is needed.

raceforheroes is now accepting donations via the 'donate' buttons on the site.  The buttons are secure and operate via a dedicated paypal account, linked to the website.  You will notice that there are two, the top one being for those who wish to enter their own amount and the bottom one for those happy to make a quicker donation of £25.  Your sponsorship now is for the Leicester City half marathon, one of 5 planned running events from which the proceeds go to H4H.  Please help out all you can, if you think you have a good idea as to where else I can raise money, let me know; I have collection tins etc. the Sables marathon is a long way of but the race for heroes is underway!
