The Leicstershire half marathon 2009 has been registered on H4H website, confirmation is pending. The target fundraising for the event is £2000, By next week the donations link will be registered with my paypal and my site will have its H$H charity number.

The first steps towards the Marathon des Sables will be taken in the Leicester City Half Marathon on Sunday the 11th of October 2009.
I have chosen this event as it coincides nicely with my six month intervals. At twice the distance of my current runs it will provide a realistic and gradual build-up to my training regime, which has already commenced.
The Leicester City Marathon is an annual event, the route runs through the city centre. For more details please visit the links section to access the Leicester City Marathon website directly.
